The Hagerstown TEA Party, Inc. is an IRS registered non-profit 501(C)3 Public Charity listed in good standing with the Secretary of State in Maryland. It is a public, nonpartisan community-based organization dedicated to promoting and providing awareness and education to the public in Hagerstown, MD and outlying county areas.

 

Outreach Programs Include

• Educating the public in the workings of the Republic as embodied in the United States Constitution, with reverence paid to the Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, and other such founding documents of our Constitutional Republic.
• Encouraging all eligible citizens to vote and especially non-registered eligible citizens to get registered in order to vote.
• Raising public awareness of the potential impact of proposed or enacted legislation and or mandates at all levels of government: Federal, State, and Local.
• Monitoring and raising public awareness of the performance of duly elected officials at all levels of government: Federal, State, and Local.

We also sponsor students of high school ages to participate in the intensive learning of our founding documents in order to qualify for scholarships, which can help reduce the cost of college, or specialized professional education.

The organization is invited to attend Community Events where they promote and distribute Constitutions and the Declaration of Independence. They also hold raffles to raise awareness through literature and Liberty Items. This activity funds the Scholarship Program, also.

Our Annual Dues are Nominal: $15/Student; $25/Member; $35/Family. All paid memberships are valid for One Full year after registration.
